2.2 What This Policy Covers. This Policy covers personal data processed by jl53 in connection with the operation of the jl53 online gaming platform, including data collected through the website, account management systems, payment processing, customer support interactions, and any other service or feature offered at jl53.club.

2.3 Third-Party Platforms. How We Collect Your Data

jl53 collects personal data through the following means:

4.1 Directly from You. The majority of personal data jl53 holds is provided directly by you when you: register an account; complete KYC verification; make a deposit or withdrawal; contact customer support; participate in promotions; or update your account settings.

4.2 Automatically through Technology. Purposes of Processing

  • Customer Support: Responding to inquiries, complaints, and disputes submitted by players through jl53's support channels.
  • Platform Improvement: Analyzing aggregated usage data to improve Platform performance, user experience, game selection, and the quality of jl53's services.
  • Marketing Communications: Sending promotional offers, bonus notifications, and platform updates to players who have consented to receive such communications. You may opt out at any time through your account settings.
Marketing Opt-Out: If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from jl53, you may opt out at any time by updating your notification preferences in your jl53 account settings or by contacting support. Opting out does not affect jl53's ability to send service and compliance-related communications required for account operation.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

7.1 No Sale of Data. jl53 does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is not a product at jl53.

7.2 Service Providers. jl53 shares personal data with carefully selected third-party service providers who process data on jl53's behalf and under jl53's instruction, under data processing agreements that impose equivalent privacy obligations. These include:

  • Payment processors (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, and other banking partners) — for payment processing only;
  • Identity verification providers — for KYC document authentication;
  • Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers — for secure Platform operation;
  • Customer support software providers — for managing support tickets and live chat;
  • Fraud prevention and cybersecurity providers — for Platform security.

7.3 PAGCOR & Regulatory Authorities. As a PAGCOR-licensed operator, jl53 is required to share certain player data with PAGCOR for licensing compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting purposes. jl53 will also disclose personal data to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), or other competent Philippine authorities where required by law, court order, or valid legal process.

7.4 Game Providers. Game software providers (such as JILI Games and PG Soft) receive minimum necessary technical data (such as player session tokens) required to deliver game content. These providers do not receive your full personal profile or financial data.

7.5 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of jl53's business or assets, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such transfer and the privacy protections that will apply.

Data Processing Agreements: All third-party service providers who handle your personal data on behalf of jl53 are required to sign data processing agreements that bind them to privacy obligations at least as protective as those under Philippine law.

Data Retention

8.1 Retention Periods. jl53 retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and in any event for the minimum periods required by applicable Philippine law:

  • Account Data and Gaming Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from account closure, in compliance with PAGCOR licensing obligations and AMLA record-keeping requirements.
  • Financial Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of each transaction, as required under the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
  • KYC Documents: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from account closure or the completion of the KYC process, whichever is later.
  • Customer Support Communications: Retained for two (2) years from the date of the last communication, unless the communication relates to a dispute or legal matter, in which case retention continues until the matter is fully resolved.
  • Marketing Consent Records: Retained for the duration of your account plus two (2) years after account closure, as evidence of consent for regulatory purposes.

8.2 Deletion. Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with jl53's data disposal procedures. Anonymized data that no longer identifies any individual may be retained for analytical purposes without time limit.

9.3 Player Responsibility. 10.1 What Are Cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. jl53 uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and local storage) to ensure the Platform functions correctly, to maintain your login session, and to improve the platform experience for Filipino players.

10.2 Types of Cookies Used by jl53:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Platform to function. These include session cookies that maintain your login state. You cannot opt out of these without affecting Platform functionality.
  • Performance & Analytics Cookies: Used to collect anonymized data about how players use jl53.club — which pages are visited most frequently, where players navigate from, and how long sessions last. This data helps jl53 improve the Platform. No personally identifiable information is collected by analytics cookies.

Limitations on Erasure: The right to erasure is subject to jl53's legal retention obligations under AMLA, PAGCOR licensing requirements, and the Data Privacy Act itself. jl53 cannot erase data it is legally required to retain — for example, KYC records and transaction history required for AML compliance must be retained for five years regardless of an erasure request.

Minors and Children

12.1 Age Restriction. The jl53 Platform is strictly intended for adults aged twenty-one (21) years and above, as required by PAGCOR regulations. jl53 does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21.

12.2 Discovery of Minor's Data. If jl53 discovers or has reason to believe that personal data of a person under 21 years of age has been collected in connection with a jl53 account, jl53 will immediately suspend the account, delete all personal data associated with the account to the extent not required for legal and regulatory purposes, and return any deposits made to the original payment method.

12.3 Parental Responsibility. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors in their household do not access the jl53 Platform using their credentials or devices. If you believe a minor has accessed jl53, contact jl53 support immediately via the in-Platform chat at jl53.club.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

13.1 International Processing. Some of jl53's service providers — including cloud infrastructure providers and game software companies — may be based outside the Philippines or may process data on servers located outside the Philippines. Where such cross-border transfers occur, jl53 takes steps to ensure that an adequate level of protection is applied to your personal data.

13.2 Safeguards. For transfers of personal data outside the Philippines, jl53 uses contractual mechanisms — including standard data transfer clauses — to require that overseas recipients provide a comparable level of data protection to that required under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. jl53 will only transfer data to jurisdictions or recipients that provide adequate safeguards, as evaluated by jl53's DPO in accordance with NPC guidance.

13.3 Game Providers. Game data necessary to deliver game sessions may be processed by game providers (such as JILI Games and PG Soft) on servers outside the Philippines. These providers are bound by data processing agreements requiring protection standards consistent with Philippine law. Minimal data necessary for game delivery is transferred — no sensitive personal information or financial data is passed to game providers.

Data Breach Notification

14.1 Breach Response. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of affected players, jl53 will take immediate steps to contain and assess the breach in accordance with its incident response procedures.

14.2 NPC Notification. Where a personal data breach is notifiable under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC regulations, jl53 will notify the National Privacy Commission within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable rules.

14.3 Player Notification. Where a breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of affected players, jl53 will notify those players directly without undue delay, providing information about the nature of the breach, the data affected, the likely consequences, and the steps jl53 is taking in response. Notification will be made via your registered email address or in-Platform notification.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

15.1 Right to Update. jl53 reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, PAGCOR regulatory requirements, jl53's data processing practices, or improvements to the Platform. All amendments will be published on jl53.club with an updated "Last Updated" date.

15.2 Material Changes. For material changes that significantly affect how jl53 processes your personal data, jl53 will notify you via email to your registered address or via a prominent notice on the Platform before the change takes effect. Where required by the Data Privacy Act, jl53 will obtain your fresh consent for new or materially changed processing activities.
